A Thank You Note to Water

Dear Water,

Often times people tend to take you for granted, but I want to remind you that you are beautiful and appreciated. You are so selfless, you do so much for us without asking for anything in return. You are constantly there for us every Sunday morning when we roll over off the floor, head throbbing, body aching to cure us. When I woke up in Jake’s townhouse bed and I had vomited into his trashcan that happened to be made of wire, you were there to help me when my accuracy was on point, but my logic wasn’t. You help us clean our disgusting bodies every day so we are able to function in society without smelling like shit. You literally let us shit on you. Remember that time when I woke up on my grandma’s couch, pants MIA, and there was a pool of piss on the floor? Thank you for helping me stay in the will. You make up 60% of my friends and family (googles the nerd, not me). Order wings that are too hot? You will help calm us down. You give us a place to float in the hot sun and give us clouds to block it. Even when you catch a cold, you think of us and give us the day off from school. You hydrate our favorite athletes so we have something to do on Sunday rather than obsess over you. Step aside again Eli, NFL man of the year goes to my good friend Water.

Oh, Jake wants to add something, “Water has always had my back forever. And I’m thankful for that”, perfectly said my friend.

But really, I can’t say it enough, when I wake up on Sunday, after seemingly eating a box of Q-Tips, thank you for rescuing me. I hope you are always in my life, because without you, I am nothing.

Lots of love,

Boo

XoXo
